Samuel Brima Mattia, a journalist and former VOPAD Radio reporter, was brutally murdered in Waterloo on January 16, 2025. The Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) has condemned the killing and called for an immediate investigation. SLAJ urges the police to ensure justice is served and stresses the need for stronger protections for journalists.
