Most 15-year-old girls from Manhattan aren’t traveling around the world and pushing their limits on the hardest rock climbs on the planet. But, for Ashima Shiraishi, this is exactly what she wants to do. Ashima has scaled some of the world’s most challenging rock climbs thanks to her sheer strength and extraordinary grace. So far, nothing has stopped her from reaching the top. “My dream is to push my own limits and hopefully one day I’ll push the limits of climbing itself,” she says. Ashima used the new rugged and waterproof Nikon #KeyMission360 action camera, which captures stunning 4K UHD 360-degree video, during a recent deep-water soloing trip to southern Thailand. Here, she climbed without a rope on limestone bluffs jutting out over the Andaman Sea, braving free falls of over 60 feet into the roiling ocean. Pan, tilt and scroll your way through this clip of Ashima’s climb in Thailand.
